Mentors

Mentors are active entertainment industry professionals who have volunteered their time to serve as resources for the IEBA Interactive program.  Area college students planning on a career in the entertainment industry will be able to utilize these professional mentors for networking purposes, educational opportunities and the ability to delve deeper into a specific niche of the industry with hands-on, "real-life" experiences.

Mentors will:

• Be available to set up a networking lunch date.
• Provide a brief professional biography.
• Educate and advise through personal and professional experiences.
• Help interns connect to a network of professionals in the area that they show interest.

As the IEBA Interactive program develops, the role of the mentor will evolve accordingly.  Interns are encouraged to develop a relationship with their mentor and to stay in contact even after their time with IEBA.  It's important for young professionals to develop a rapport with the experienced entertainment professionals in their community and beyond, and the IEBA Interactive mentor program is a great place to start.
